BOARD
MEETING – March 15, 2010
MINUTES
The
March board meeting of the Hallmark Homeowners Association was held at the Irmo
Public Library on March 15, 2010.
President George Hine presided.
Those attending were George Hine,
Minutes
for February were approved.
Treasurer’s
report for February was approved.
New Business. One neighbor suggested to
George that the area representatives be made board members. The board decided not to pursue this. Area representatives are already welcomed and
encouraged to attend board meetings.
The board did not feel that we needed to add more mandatory positions to
the board.
Old Business. George will follow up with area
representatives to check status of dues collection.
Committee
reports were as follows:
1.
Administrative/Budget. George Hine. We will have our annual meeting on May
11.
The nomination committee has several slots
filled. They will have full slate by
next
board
meeting. Steve will bring a sample
ballot to the board meeting next month.
Ellis has filed the tax return
2.
Beautification/Maintenance. Benny
Reeves. No report.
3.
Communication. Steve Shaffer. Steve has distributed the letters for dues to
the area
representatives.
4.
Compliance. Ed Yates. We discussed several
letters that had been sent to people in
the
neighborhood. No action was taken at
this time.
5.
Public Works. George Hine. George has not heard anything back from his
letters to
John Fechtel and Doug
Padgett. George will follow up
again. Jody Corley from the
City
of

each other since that time.
6.
Safety/Crime Watch. Gary Messer.
Sanitation about backyard
pickup. If you are unable to take your trash to the curb
and you have a
medical certificate, Southland will do back yard pickup with no
additional charge. If you are able to take you trash to the
curb, but still want back
yard pickup, Southland will do it for double the price.

Anonymous Complaints.
The
next Board Meeting will be Monday, April 19, at 7:00 PM at the Irmo library.

being no other business, the meeting was adjourned.
